Well, I just saw the pilot below, for a WONDER WOMAN TV series brought to us by the same geniuses who came up with the ’60s BATMAN show, and believe me when I tell you my eyes are still throwing up.

…Which is a Reddit-associated video – first of a series, it appears – in which a couple of condescending dweebs explain Friedrich Nietsche to a group of kids so much smarter than they are that it’s pathetic.
THE GOOD:

The word from Nikke Fink is that COMMUNITY is promising an all-puppet episode in its entirely justified attempt to climb out of the ratings cellar. The idea is to use puppet versions of all the main characters plus a cameo from the real, non-puppet Jason Alexander.
We think this is a wonderful idea and might even tune in to see how it shapes up. Why do we say “might?” Well, it’s the, you know, Jason Alexander thing. Does anybody really want to see him, live or puppet-like, on their TV screen? Dead, OTOH.

For those who have lives, ADVENTURE TIME is the latest very hip and very trendy hipsters-love-it cartoon on Cartoon Network. It’s created by a guy name Pendleton Ward and has made him immeasurably famous to an equally immeasurable number of young adults who, you know, have never seen a good cartoon and wouldn’t know it even if they did.
I watched a lifetime’s worth of ADVENTURE TIME last night. Which is to say that it felt like a lifetime but its real time added up to about 10 mind-and-body-numbing minutes. Which, I suppose, is moderately better than excruciating minutes, but still…
