Just read a blog post by a writer yrs.truly mightily respects, and his closing paragraph, in answer to a TV writing question, began with a now all-too-familiar phrase:
“At the end of the day….”
Yer Friendly Neighborhood Munchikins sees it all the time. Over and over and over. Such and such or so and so is the best thing since the last best thing “at the end of the day.”
Think about it. To entice customers streaming services need to be the exclusive provider of as many good/popular shows as possible. Which means they’re going to have to license or produce the best of the best.
Neither of those alternatives is cheap. In fact, they’re downright expensive. Can streaming services continue their exorbitant spending without having to charge viewers the proverbial arm and a leg?

We know why nobody wants to see Ms. Heigl’s next project. It’s the same reason nobody wanted to see her previous failures – nobody fucking can stand her onscreen persona.

Well, wtf, this little muncher is still alive, well, and getting into as much trouble as possible.
