Well, I think they’re important, so:
1. The fact that the Early Bird Discount for this year’s People’s Pilot is now over doesn’t mean that we’re closed for entries. Au contraire, mes amis, our signature contest is up, running, and eager to accept entries up to and including the very final minute of November 1st, 2016.
That gives you lots of time to write, polish, and enter…and you can even take the reverse approach – enter, then write and polish, because no matter when you pay your entry fee ($50 for 1 entry, $85 in toto for 2 entries at once) you still have through November 1 to submit your work.
Alice Isn’t Dead isn’t on video, but it’s a web series nevertheless. A serialized story podcast that brings back the joys of radio drama – but somehow manages to be so visual in its writing, acting, and sound efx that you’ll swear you’re watching and not listening.

He soon becomes incredibly successful, but the side-effects are very dangerous as he continues taking the pill called NZT. His new abilities and his rise to the top has attracted the attention of very powerful and dangerous people.
Limitless was a box office success after grossing over $161 million on a budget of $27 million. After the movie was over, I wanted more of this universe. A super-pill that allows someone to basically have a brain that can do all of that stuff? Someone should write a graphic novel sequel or create a television show about this movie. Luckily, Craig Sweeny came to CBS with a pitch for a show based on the events after the film, and the Limitless series was born.

Nonetheless I’m an action junkie; books, movies, tv, whatever.
Star Wars, Deadpool, Sword Dancer Novels, Orson Scott Card! Yes, I like detail as well, background, the backstory, but what really sucks me in is the action. Don’t make that backstory and setting too lengthy or I’ll be peeking ahead or see where the action again picks up. Not everyone is like this, but that’s me.
