When I heard Arrival scored high on rotten tomatoes, I had to see the film for myself. This film follows a linguist as she is recruited by the United States Military to assist in translating an alien language.

I sort of vaguely suggested that I might continue last week’s discussion of Doctor Strange, who has been a Marvel Comics character since 1963 and currently is the eponymous star of a big screen movie, the box office champ for the second week in a row (and for a little extra coin you can see this champ in 3-D! And don’t tell me, mister, that life is not a party.
NBCUniversal Talent Infusion Programs has announced its 2016-17 Writers on the Verge, as in TV writers of diverse backgrounds who are on the verge of breaking out but need a “final polish of their writing and pitch presentation skills.”
Winners will receive coaching and mentoring from industry pros during an intensive 12-week program with the ultimate goal of preparing them to be staff writers. At the end, they will be considered for available writing assignments on NBC series.
