Classic TV Lovers, This One’s For You

It’s Black Friday, and we can’t think of a better way to spend your hard-earned moolah than by investing in the history – and future – of our favorite media – TV.

This message from TVWriter™ bud Herbie J Pilato, Executive Director of The Classic TV Preservation Society, will tell you what it’s all about:

Dear Friends,

Thanks to your support, the Classic TV Preservation Society (CTVPS) was granted the opportunity to not only serve the Classic TV community with special live events like the Bewitched Fan Fare, and new, live stage productions such as the upcoming new play, A Three’s Company Christmas Parody, but also to help fund the Classic TV & Self-Esteem Seminars that are brought to community and senior centers, schools, colleges, and business organizations.

Additionally, because of your previous generosity, the CTVPS was able to filter funds into other non-profit groups that help to supply those less fortunate a warm place to stay and a hot meal to eat.  On behalf of all that, thank you for bringing joy to countless many classic TV lovers, and to saving a few lives along the way, not to mention helping many retain their human dignity.

The CTVPS is now launching our 2018 Year-End Campaign.  Our main goal is to help fund and host additional classic TV live events, screenings, and new live stage plays (headlined by classic TV stars), in addition to continuing to help other nonprofit organizations that are dedicated to education for students of all ages; to housing and feeding the homeless, or to assist any noble group with any noble cause.

Last year, our goal was to raise a modest $10,000, and we met that.  This year, our goal is to attain ten times that amount in order to retain a theatrical facility on a regular basis in order to house any and all events in one place, in addition to the traveling Classic TV & Self-Esteem Seminars.

If we raise $100,000 by December 31st, we will be able to secure a wonderful facility and to cover all required expenses to present top-level entertainment, as well as to be able to continue to provide food, shelter, and clothing for shelters.

But we need your help to make it happen.
Would you be willing to make a special year-end tax-deductible donation of $50, $100, $500, $1000, or whatever you can afford to help us meet our goal?

The CTVPS simply can’t do it without you, and we provide three main ways for you to do so:

1]    Visit, and click on the DONATE button

2]   Donate directly via PayPal and the email account of

3]   Email for an address on where to send your check or money order (made payable to “The Classic TV Preservation Society”).

Thank you for your continued support and friendship.

With gratitude,

Herbie J Pilato
