This sexy little thing won an Award of Excellence in LaJolla’s Best Shorts Competition. And very well-deserved award it is, as far as we’re concerned.
Gives whole new meaning to the concept “non-consensual relationship.”

Two days ago I launched the Season Finale of Chilltown. At first, I was mega excited. It’s (mostly) been a thrilling ride and I’m proud of the work I did. But then something happened I really didn’t expect: I started feeling a bit sad.
I have no idea if I’ll be able to finance Season 2. And mostly, I just don’t want it to end. Even with the ridiculous amount of work and some of the ups and downs, it really is so. much. fun. And exciting. Animation involves a HUGE amount of work; way more than live action. It’s not like picking up a camera and going for it. It takes a long time to execute. If I did it all myself again, it would probably take about a year and half, if I did it full-time, which I can’t do. I need a crew, even if it’s a mini one. And I need financing for that to happen.
Yeppers, another exciting update from Travis Richey:
BOOTH, Budgets, and Babyish the ExtraordinaryGreetings, Inspectators!
Production is well under way on the prequel episode to Season 2 of Untitled Web Series… Those of you who are familiar with the behind-the-scenes of Season 1 will know that we’d had some challenges regarding one of our most integral characters: The BOOTH. Namely, that we didn’t actually own it!

This week I was invited to a special YouTube screening. The invite said I was selected to attend, which was pretty cool (I literally couldn’t believe I was invited!) But, unfortunately, I couldn’t make it. I had planned to, even registered to attend, but was so involved working on this TOP SECRET PROJECT, I just didn’t have time. In fact, the night of the screening, I was up till 3am rendering/animating. The screening had top YouTubers discuss best practices for taking with advertisers regarding branding with a panel.
The truth: no advertiser is going to be interested in branding my show. Yet. You really need to have a substantial amount of subscribers/viewer retention for that. I’m doing well but not SMOSH well. I’ve got under 800 subscribers. I think I’d have to have at least 20,000-30,0000 (at least) before those kinds of conversations start to happen. It would have been interesting to hear what they had to say, though…
