Latest News About Writers Who Are Doing Better Than We Are=&0=& (COMET) has had his USA series MR. ROBOT picked up for ten eps and even has a star now – Christian Slater. (Yeppers, kids, that’s right. The genius development and network execs have worked hand in hand to come up with the dumbest series title in many a year (and that’s against a hella competition) and in addition saddled it with a star who has never been able to make it on TV even though he’s had more spots in the starting gate than Bruce Willis has had movies. Sorry for your future loss, Sam.) Speaking of the stench of failure, Amazon Studios has cancelled its previously announced greenlighting of THE AFTER, a post-apocalypse series created by none other than Chris Carter,  saying, “We have decided not to move forward with THE AFTER. We would like to thank Chris Carter, the phenomenal cast, crew and producers for all their efforts.” (Notice how there’s no mention of the writers? Yer friendly neighborhood munchaphile figures that’s cuz they couldn’t come up with any to actually, erm, write the series. Why would I think that? Let’s just say I hear things…and sometimes they aren’t just things in my head.)

That’s it for now, munchaladas. Don’t forget to write in and tell yers truly what you’ve sold when you sell it. Cuz TVWriter™ can’t wait to brag to all your friends. (And, more importantly, enemies. Hehehe….)
