At TVWriter™ we have been crushing like crazy on Tim Minchin for years. More than once we’ve said, “The Minchman is God,” and now, lo and behold we’ve learned that Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber himself agrees with us.
Here’s the sitch – Sir Andrew (known to LB as Just Plain Andrew because – this is true – he knew him when) has been making a number of productions of his musicals available on YouTube for 48 hours each, and right now (to-fucking-day and tomorrow too!) It’s Jesus Chris Superstar’s turn.
Not to be outdone by RTD, the Moff gives us a deluxe version of a scene intended for way back in the Doctor Who episode “The Eleventh Hour.” This one will make you cry.
