We love Rick and Morty, and we were thrilled when we learned Pringles – yep, you heard us, Pringles, that sort of food stuff you eat when the can with the real potato chips is empty – was using the Rick and Morty team to create a Super Bowl commercial.
But how weird – sad? creepy? – is it when a commercial featuring the characters in a very cool, hip, and trendy TV series is better than the show itself? We mean, what does this say about the future of TV itself?
