Because now we’ve been treated to a glimpse of the humongous, in-your-face, out-there, totally overwhelming – wait for it – AMBITION that’s made her a star. Girlfriend makes Madonna look chill. She’ll cut ya, for sure.

OTOH, The Perryblossom does show how lucky we are that Zooey Deschanel is nowhere near as perky as her frantic fans have described her. Because then Zooey would’ve been the manatee mugging/shoving/interrupting on the Nortmeister’s couch instead. read article

Dan Harmon & Steve Levitan React To ‘Community’s Critics Choice Win

Community creator and recently ousted showrunner Dan Harmon took to Twitter to react to the show’s surprise best comedy series win at last night Critics Choice TV Awards and indicated that he was not invited to the ceremony. “Congrats,Community, and thank you, critics,” he wrote. “Sorry I was unable to have been invited!” Harmon was acknowledged onstage by Community star Joel McHale, who accepted the series’ first major award. “I want to thank Dan Harmon, who created the greatest show on television,” McHale said. read article

I’m back! I had a busy week of traveling around New York, including a visit to the Eastern tip of Long Island. I explored the beach and met some of the local wildlife. Crabs are lovely creatures, though they do get cross when you pick them up. I may have been pinched a few times.

NBC’s Fall 2012 Series Premieres to Come Early
