Leesa Dean: Adventures of a Web Series Newbie
Chapter 31 – A3C Hip Hop Recap
by Leesa Dean
I’ll cut to the chase. I had a GREAT time in Atlanta!
My plane arrived right on time and I called Lyn Adler as we had pre-arranged. She and her fiance Mark were already en route to the venue. We both got there early and it was so cool to finally meet her and Mark in person. Lyn and I have known each other for a few years, but only online (we had a friend in common.) It was wonderful to finally meet in person. They are absolutely lovely people.
We took a short walk, checked out the the block party (which was just setting up/starting a few blocks away) and came back just in time to meet Charles Judson, the artistic director of the Film Festival (and the Atlanta Film Festival) and Kristan Woolford, his assistant. Both great guys. We started chatting as people started arriving and really hit it off.
LB: Peer Production Really Does Pay Off
What? You haven’t heard of her? You will. She’s one busy writer, working on scripts for ROBOT CHICKEN and ALLEN GREGORY, and as an actress Rachel’s appeared on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.
More importantly for TVWriter™ purposes, Rachel is also the writer and star of FUCK ME, RAY BRADBURY, a music video that as of this writing has over 2,175,000 Youtube hits.
Bob Tinsley: Adventures in Audio Theater – 6
In an earlier post I talked about the need for a Trusted Source for audio theater. In that post I talked mainly about a place to buy good, high-quality audio theater. Under that umbrella also fall the writers, actors and producers, and the easiest way to find a trusted source is to look for the Big Names.
There’s not much of that these days outside of the UK. (The situation in the UK deserves its own post.) Has there been much of that since the Golden Days of Radio?

…so I don’t have to be the entire crew any more.
When I was a shuttle bus driver on the graveyard shift at a parking garage near LAX, one of the valet parkers was a tall, goofy guy who liked to run around making monkey noises.
