LB: Peer Production Really Does Pay Off

What? You haven’t heard of her? You will. She’s one busy writer, working on scripts for ROBOT CHICKEN and ALLEN GREGORY, and as an actress Rachel’s appeared on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

More importantly for TVWriter™ purposes, Rachel is also the writer and star of FUCK ME, RAY BRADBURY, a music video that as of this writing has over 2,175,000 Youtube hits.

Oh, and she just happens to have closed a deal to co-create and write (with Aline Brosh McKenna, who’s not exactly a slouch herself) a Showtime sitcom called CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, which has a lot of attitude in common with her Bradbury video.

Would any of this have happened without the video? I dunno. But I do know that it had everybody I showed it to laughing out loud, which, after all, is what comedy writing is supposed to do. But you probably want to see for yourself. So:
