LB: Does Anyone Remember Laughter?

Heard in the TVWriter™ Online Writers Room (AKA the dedicated Zoom URL I use for my Master Classes):

I’m trying to watch as many of the new streaming sitcoms as I can, but there’s a problem. No matter how intelligent and clever they may be, instead of making me laugh, many of the shows upset me.

No one in the meeting disagreed. Instead everyone nodded. The only response I could come up with was:

Have you watched Ted Lasso?

Again, no one in the room disagreed. They all nodded. So this is my advice to everyone looking for laughter and – although this is something I never thought I’d say – comfort.

Hmm, what do you know? Looks like I just wrote a Ted Lasso review. And, yes, the show, on Apple TV+, is that GOOD.
