Things keep moving. Rollo and I talk a couple of times a week, mostly on the phone. He’s working on another project that just sounds huge. Two VERY MAJOR CELEBRITIES are attached. It’s a movie. It’s sci-fi. It involves a franchise. He got in through the back door because of his connects. What’s his participation? Well, that’s a little nebulous. Yet, it’s thrilling. He’s like Scheherazade, spinning out tales of hope. If things work out like that for him, how incredible is it gonna be for me!
He admits he’s treading water financially. How does he support himself? I don’t even wanna guess. It would pierce my expectations and I know that. He’s not the only iron I have in the fire, in fact, he’s just one teensy one, but his stories and the potential weight they carry are mesmerizing.
In TVWriter™’s tradition of tirelessly educating and offending whomever it can, wherever and whenever it can, today we’re presenting the first in what we hope will be a series of blog entries about the most tasteless new Kickstarter project we’ve seen in a long time. We mean, learning the ins and out of crowdfunding is pretty damn important these days, right?
Hello there. My name is Kenneth Yoder and I am getting set to direct a new comedy web series called “Rodrigo Quintez: Quality Children’s Entertainer”. This blog is about the process of creating a show from the seed of an idea all the way through fundraising, casting, production, post-production and the release of the final product.
Okay, so he didn’t really say this. Cuz if he had, he would’ve said it funnier. Here then, are Bruce Reisman’s own words on a certain indie project he’s involved in.
Oh, and yeppers, Bruce is a guy you really should know. (Or at least have heard of!)

Travis Richey, the creator of this terrific series, which used to be seen on a little cult TV show called COMMUNITY, is readying Season 2 of his newly renamed – yet again cuz that’s how he rolls – Not Inspector Spacetime web series.
The show is up on Kickstarter right now, with just a couple of days to go to reach its goal of $10,000 so it can go into production. As of this writing it’s very close, but we recommend you get over there and consider taking the plunge anyway cuz we know y’all wanna be in, hip, and trendy, and this is the in, hip, and trendy Kickstarter series to be part of. Hell, even LB coughed up a few bucks. (The man’ll do anything to get his name on the credits of a show.)
