LB: “Retirement Blues?”

I’m thinking that the heading on this post could also apply to this cartoon by Wiley:

Don’t get me wrong. It doesn’t apply to me, oh no, no.

I originally retired back in 1991 and didn’t feel a thing.

Went back to work in the good old “Industry” in 1994 or so, then retired once more in 2002. Again, no regrets, no sense of loss.

As I think about it, the reason may be that I never acknowledged the strings of any puppet master I may have been connected during the time I was indeed.

Now I have to wonder if that was a good thing or…Hmm….
