LB Sees ALMOST HUMAN

almost-human300

The Good:

  1. The pilot looked just like BLADE RUNNER
  2. The pilot story repeated the key elements of BLADE RUNNER beat by beat
  3. It wasn’t created by or written by Kurtzman & Orci

The Not So Good:

  1. The pilot looked just like BLADE RUNNER
  2. The pilot story repeated the key elements of BLADE RUNNER beat by beat
  3. The rest of the series doesn’t look like…anything
  4. The hero is the robot and not the human – but the show doesn’t seem to know that

Conclusion:

  1. I stopped watching 20 minutes into the second episode. Don’t think I’ll try it again.
  2. If Fox wanted to re-do BLADE RUNNER, they should’ve picked up this instead:

God, I’d definitely watch this.
