Herbie J Pilato has some Rockin’ Good News

EDITOR’S NOTE: Who says the publishing biz – you know, the one that uses actual paper – is dead? Certainly not our pal Herbie J Pilato, who recently sent us this feel-good report:

Hello All –

I’m excited to report something kind of neat.

Taylor Trade Publishing has now decided to release a Special 50th Anniversary mass market paperback edition of TWITCH UPON A STAR for next fall, the same time that Taylor is also releasing my all-new book GLAMOUR, GIDGETS AND THE GIRL NEXT DOOR: TELEVISION’S ICONIC WOMEN FROM THE 50s, 60s and 70s.

Meanwhile, too, Tantor Media (another publisher) is also releasing in the fall of 2014 my other new book: RETRO ACTIVE TELEVISION: AN IN-DEPTH HISTORY OF CLASSIC TV’S SOCIAL CIRCUITRY.

Consequently, that makes me the first author in pop-culture history to have three new books released at the same time. And even if the revised 50th Anniversary of the TWITCH paperback were not being released, that would still make me the first author in pop-culture history to release two new books in the same market period.

See the links below for more information:

Side-note: the actual cover-art of the new TWITCH paperback will be different than what we see below….there will be some slight changes…and “Special 50th Anniversary Edition” will be bannered across the top or bottom corner in some way.
