The writers say the show does. And even though FASION POLICE isn’t a union – as in Writers Guild of America, West – show, the WGAW is helping the writers take legal action – as in sue.

‘Simpsons’ Producer Dead at 48

TVBizWire reports that Don Payne, co-executive producer of THE SIMPSONS, has died at 48 of cancer.
Payne, who earned four Emmys with “The Simpsons” after joining its writing staff in 1998, wrote 16 episodes of the series. One of them, “Fraudcast News,” was awarded the 2005 Writers Guild Paul Selvin Award.

Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry has renewed two series for additional runs and picked up three new series.
The web sensation’s production company and YouTube Channel has renewed TableTop and Space Janitors and announced an April 1 start date for new shows Felicia’s Ark, Fetch Quest and The Player Ones.
