Yeah, we know it’s not quite the season, but this is an early bird special for all those people we meet who, when we tell ’em what we do (“I, uh, try to write for TV”) invariably reply, “Oh, I never watch television:”
Sceptre X408BV-FHD 39-Inch 1080p 60HZ LCD HDTV (Black)
Whatcha say to that, you cheap bee-atches? Hmm? Hmm? Don’t give us that “I don’t watch TV” crap again, hear?
EDITED TO ADD: munchman actually owns a Sceptre TV. Here’s his review:
PROS: Hey, 1080P, 3 HDMI ports, 1 USB port. Perfect for hooking up to my laptop or not-so-friendly-neighborhood cable service. (Oh, TimeWarner Cable, how you torture me!) And this model is cheaper than just about any much-smaller computer monitor.
CONS: GF disses it because she never heard of the brand. Which tells me it’s time to get a new GF. (Or maybe that’s really a pro cuz lookit the insight into her character this gave me.)
