Latest News About Writers Who Are Doing Better Than We Are=&0=& (LIMITLESS) is turning the film, which is based on the s-f thriller The Dark Fields by Alan Glynn into a series for CBS. From the announcement it looks like we’re all supposed to know a lot about the movie, but I have to plead ignorance cuz…it starred Bradley Cooper, know what I mean? (Don’t get me wrong. I’m kinda liking the dude now, but I’m not sure if that’s cuz of him or his partnerships with Jennifer Lawrence, who is just sooo darned cute….) Ben Cory Jones (HAND OF GOD) is writing the pilot for an HBO comedy called BROS, about “three African-American brothers – two straight, one gay and all very different – looking for love and happiness in Los Angeles.” (Nothing patronizing about that, right?) Stuart Beattie (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN) is writing the pilot for Syfy’s adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke‘s 3001: The Final Odyssey miniseries. (And, yep, sucker that I am, I’m eager to see the result. I mean, we can’t hold PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN against a guy forever, can we? Hmm, maybe you’d better not answer.)

That’s it for now. Write in and tell munchilito what you’ve sold today. TVWriter™ can’t wait to brag to all your friends. (And, more importantly, enemies. Hehehe….)
