Part 1 of NBC’s Justin Bieber: All Around the World special on Wednesday night drew 3.3 million total viewers and a 0.9 demo rating with them oldsters in the 18-49 demo. That puts it 47 percent below what the Peacock’s recent Adele music special scored.
NBC’s Biebfest thus only bested The CW’s Top Model repeats in the pre-bedtime 8 o’clock hour, trailing shows such as Dogs in the City and ABC sitcom reruns.
EDITED TO INCLUDE THE LATEST “NEWS”: Opening the night, Part 2 of NBC’s aforementioned Justin Bieber: Around the World special drew 3.1 mil and a 0.8, down a tenth in the demo from Wednesday and putting it in fourth place ahead of only The CW’sBreaking Pointe (which gained a few eyeballs, hitting 910K). Fox’s Take Me Out (3.15 mil/1.2), meanwhile, saw gains of 20 and 9 percent.
