Big Four Networks Push for More Diverse Pilots

Or so they say. Let’s hope they mean it:

TRACEE ELLIS ROSSThe LA Times has suggested that this current pilot season — and then, hopefully, the 2015-16 television season — is more diverse than ever, at least on the four major broadcast networks.

Citing examples such as the Rush Hour TV adaptation and ABC’s all black Uncle Buck reboot (with Mike Epps stepping into John Candy’s iconic role), there is certainly something to be said about networks’ push for more diverse casts and narratives.
