- Barbie Kligman (SECRETS & LIES) has a new overall deal with ABC, continuing on SECRETS & LIES and developing new projects. (Yer friendly neighborhood munchman doesn’t know Barbie, but what could it hurt for me to call and congratulate her and, you know, immediately launch into just the cutest little pitch?)
- James Elroy (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) is developing SHAKEDOWN, a series about “the underbelly of Los Angeles in the 1950s” for HBO. (Hmm, I’m not really gettin’ that, but wouldn’t it be cool if I pitched that very same idea to Barbie Kligman? Chaos Man strikes!)
- Christian Lander, Keith Lucas and Kenny Lucas (Fox’s animated THE LUCAS BROTHERS MOVING COMPANY) are developing a live-action series for Fox based on the Lucas Brothers’ lives as identical twins with a goal – to take over Hollywood. (Here’s hoping that their lives are remotely interesting cuz so far the muncher hasn’t seen any series based on the life of a comedian that’s worth watching. Yeah, I’m including LOUIE, which was great until the Louie character on that show started – yuck – trying to rape people.)
