The way the judges saw it, every one of these Finalists is a wow. In previous years, each one could have been a Winner. In fact, as of this writing, we still don’t know who the Winners will be. The Battle of the Judges’ Chambers continues!
COMING NEXT WEEK FRIDAY: The Spec Scriptacular Winners (cuz as they say in the comics, “Lo, there’s gotta be an ending!”)
Congratulations, Finalists!
How many entries were there overall this year?
Not as many as we would’ve liked. But then, that’s true every year. The big takeaway for us this time around is how well-written all the sitcom entries were – in a year when every new network sitcom sucked. The ones in the SS were very, very funny. The Biz definitely needs these writers!
